We are seeking for a talented IT professional responsible for managing, maintaining, and securing an organization's databases, ensuring data integrity, availability, and efficient performance by designing, implementing, monitoring, and troubleshooting database systems, often utilizing SQL to interact with and manipulate data.

Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or similar role.
• Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Strong understanding of SQL and database query optimization.
• Experience with database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Knowledge of database security best practices.
• Experience with database replication and high-availability solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud databases (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL) is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with monitoring and performance tuning tools (e.g., SQL Profiler, AWR reports, etc.).
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
