Apple Reportedly Striving To Bring New Keyboard Design In Upcoming Macbooks

Apple always strives to offer users something new. Therefore the company is preparing to change the technology behind the keyboard available on MacBook Pro computer. This has conveyed by Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple Analyst. He is very much accurate in his recent predictions. It seems that this has come from within Apple’s supply chain. And expected to offer a clear and pre-indication for upcoming hardware changes.

According to Kuo, a brand new keyboard design is approaching to the hardware set of new MacBook Air models. As per his last report, it is preparing to enter into the market later this year. Altogether, There will be MacBook Pro models, which won’t be available in the market until 2020, he said. In result, there will be a big downfall in the so-called “butterfly mechanism” design, that is an important entity of current-generation versions of MacBooks.

Rather, the new versions in this  line will use “scissor switch-based keyboards”. Apple has used this mechanism prior to bringing “butterfly” in 2015. Thereby, the current standalone Magic Keyboard of Apple is using scissor switches.

The major cause behind this is the constant criticism from users about the MacBook keyboards based on the butterfly switch mechanism. The breaches involve keystrokes, repeated keystrokes and more.

It is true that compressed air can resolve these problems by blowing away debris under the keyboard, though, actual replacement is essential to keyboard component from Apple itself.

Earlier this year, Apple introduced the most recent MacBook Pro. This device features a redesigned butterfly keyboard, which is using new materials to mitigate these problems. Altogether, it has come up with a free keyboard replacement program for MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and MacBook. This program extends to all Macbook model that have butterfly- based keyboard.

From this, it appears that the company is planning to implement more effective and permanent hardware that can remove the requirement for any other measure, and mitigate such problems entirely.
